The Ellesmere Centre for Psychotherapy and Training is based in Hull, on the easily accessible Holderness Road. It is a large Victorian building with a private car park, developed specifically for the ethical and professional practice of psychotherapy and training. We provide a relaxed environment with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We offer training courses with Transactional Analysis as our core model; starting with the TA101 (Introduction to TA), ideal if you would like to find out more without committing yourself to long term study. There is a foundation course which provides a more in-depth study of the principles of TA whilst enabling you to experience the application of TA to your professional practice and personal life. This can be a stand alone course or provide entry to the three year part time psychotherapy training. Your aim will be the successful completion of the European Association of Transactional Analysis examination and accreditation as a Certified Transactional Analyst with UKCP registration. Our developmental approach to the training means we stay mindful of your training needs and personal journey. We believe that training can be both informative and fun and combine the excellent theoretical concepts of Transactional Analysis with experiential activities.

The programme aims for dynamic learning and high academic standards, teamed with support for your personal development and the development of your unique professional identity as a TA psychotherapist. This format makes best use of the time spent learning in the training group. The group also includes trainees at each stage of their training.
